I'm a little bit lost
and I forgot how much I need Your saving grace.

I realized that it's not really you that I miss, it's the times we had together. I stopped missing you when I realized that I should be treasuring the ones I have right now.

carpe diem

I'm waiting, waiting, just waiting,
I'm waiting, waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines
Waiting outside the lines

Try to have no regrets
even if it's just tonight
How you gonna walk ahead
if you keep living blind

playmesomething

I wonder what determines whether you "click" with someone or not. I don't think it's really something that you can explain. I have friends that are completely different than me, but somehow, we "click." It has something to do with having similar values, but a lot of times, it's not something you can really explain.

It's going to be okay, and it's going to get better. Always here for you.

nostalgia

And you're left here with a million questions
you don't want to ask.
Once again, you find yourself in that place again.

next2you

Okay. I don't especially love Justin Bieber, but I don't especially hate him either. His new collab with Chris Brown is pretty catchy.

One day when the sky is falling,
I'll be standing right next to you,
Right next to you.
Nothing will ever come between us,
I'll be standing right next to you,
Right next to you.

Does it truly take traveling 5,603 miles to realize what you have? Sometimes it does.
Going on this trip to Italy really made me realize how much I have here, in North America, in Vancouver. It opened my eyes to a lot of beautiful things: the architecture, the breathtaking views, etc, but it also made me realize how lucky we are in Canada.
Sometimes we don't realize just exactly what we have until it's taken from us, even if it's just for a while.
And sometimes, you don't realize you're looking for something that's been here all along. You always have more than you think.
I'm so thankful for my friends: the ones that will answer my stupid questions, laugh with me and at times, AT me, the ones that I can text at 3 am, the ones I frantically get wifi in Italy for, the ones that always make me smile after the fact, the ones that won't judge me, the ones that are worth the apologies and the ones that don't take me for granted.

I'm telling you there's something magical about Rome. It's definitely the most romantic city I've ever been to. A perfect day would be to have a cappuccino in a street cafe, with ancient ruins as the backdrop nbd. Tomorrow, we're going to Florence. Sooo excited. Ciao for now.
Day two
I went to Vatican city and visited the Sistine chapel today. But First of all, Rome is the most beautiful city I've ever been to. I mean, how can you not fall in love with a city like this. I love the people here too. They're so chill and unstressed. They know what it means to live life with everything you have. I've learnt so much from them already. As the light shone through the windows, illuminating the golden ceiling and breathtaking murals, I realized that living with a passion like Michelangelo makes life worth living. In the Sistine chapel, I saw the famous mural depicting god's outstretched hand to Adam. As the days of creation were painted on the ceiling, that particular scene stood out to me as I realized the special relationship we have with our creator and how he set us apart from all other creation. There's so much history in this city. It's so amazing. I can't even begin to explain to you how easily it is to fall in love with this place. The Romans were so clever in architecture and art.
Mom: if you lived here you would definitely fall in love with an Italian hottie on those motorcycles.
Me: no mom, if I lived here, I would definitely have my own motorcycle.
Mom: so typical of youu.

Ciao from rome:)
Random things to remember:
First thing I saw in Rome: emporio Armani building
First song I heard on Italian radio: jb never say never, then ET then party rock anthem chyeaa
First drink in Rome: some cranberry cocktail
First nice guy met: bartender in hotel
Best thing about Rome so far: the amazing looking streets
Something I learnt: Italians like to drive crazily.
Day one: it's been a tiring and long ride here but I'm finally here! Have to wake up early tmr but still jetlagged right now. I wish I could blog more, but typing on this little itouch is not very motivating. Anyway hopefully I'll hav more to blog about tmr. For now, love youu. Good night!

It's alright and it's nice not to be so alone
But I hold on to your secrets in white houses

Maybe I'm a little bit over my head
I come undone at the things he said
And he's so funny in his bright red shirt
We were all in love and we all got hurt
I sneak into his car's cracked leather seat
The smell of gasoline in the summer heat
Boy, we're going way too fast
It's all too sweet to last

It's alright
And I put myself in his hands
But I hold on to your secrets in white houses
Love, or something ignites in my veins
And I pray it never fades in white houses

And you, maybe you'll remember me
What I gave is yours to keep
In white houses
