Day two
I went to Vatican city and visited the Sistine chapel today. But First of all, Rome is the most beautiful city I've ever been to. I mean, how can you not fall in love with a city like this. I love the people here too. They're so chill and unstressed. They know what it means to live life with everything you have. I've learnt so much from them already. As the light shone through the windows, illuminating the golden ceiling and breathtaking murals, I realized that living with a passion like Michelangelo makes life worth living. In the Sistine chapel, I saw the famous mural depicting god's outstretched hand to Adam. As the days of creation were painted on the ceiling, that particular scene stood out to me as I realized the special relationship we have with our creator and how he set us apart from all other creation. There's so much history in this city. It's so amazing. I can't even begin to explain to you how easily it is to fall in love with this place. The Romans were so clever in architecture and art.
Mom: if you lived here you would definitely fall in love with an Italian hottie on those motorcycles.
Me: no mom, if I lived here, I would definitely have my own motorcycle.
Mom: so typical of youu.
